Cyber Bullying

According to the BBC today, one third of all US teenagers have been the victims of cyber bullying. Doubtless, some will use this as an opportunity to dwell on the dark side of social media and paint the internet as a dark, scary place. The truth is that the internet reflects real life. [...]

Hire Raj for *FREE*

On Tuesday while at the £5 App I was amazed by the talent Brighton has but the lack of funds to market it or afford a business consultant. So I came up with the idea to let a company hire me for free for 5/6 hours over the weekend, for how ever long it takes [...]

Building the Killer App

The ‘Killer App’, according to Wikipedia, it is an app that justifies buying the hardware to run it. Think Word for DOS on the IBM PC, Visicalc on the Mac II or even Halo on the XBox. They are not that common.
The next level would be the app that becomes synonymous with the work it [...]

The Honeycomb Test

A fascinating blog by Peter Morville, from ‘way’ back in 2004, presented a very interesting diagram. ‘The User Experience Honeycomb’.
(Slightly modified by me)

The article and comments got me thinking; could this be ‘bent’ into a simple tool that can be used to compare websites? So with apologies to Peter I’ve had a go.

More Thoughts On The Facebook Platform

I’ve spoken to several people in the last few days who are really excited about the Facebook platform. I also think it’s a fantastic development by Facebook. It’s really interesting to hear the thoughts of people who offer a more cautionary opinion. I mentioned the Vecosys Article on the Facebook Platform in [...]

Back to the Pencil.

This popped up through one of my Google Alerts.
I find I need graphical representations to really get hold of an idea or to develop it. It makes the links more obvious and aids my flagging memory. So to find a marketing and social networking mind map was a very topical treat. Thank you MoHDI.
